The University of Namibia (UNAM) is the largest and leading National institution of higher education in the country. It is a diverse institution with 12 campuses and 11 regional centres nationnwide and a multinational student population. Since its foundation in 1992, the BAB has collaborated with numerous of its departments and institutions on various, often long-term library, archive, exhibition and research projects. Many UNAM lecturers have been recipients of the scholarship programme of the Carl Schlettwein Foundation and are BAB authors.
