Stolen from Africa?

The workshop ‘Stolen from Africa? Restitution of Namibian Cultural Heritage in Switzerland’, run by the BAB in cooperation with the Centre for African Studies (CASB) at the University of Basel, the Musuems Association of Namibia (MAN) and the Völkerkundemuseum of the University of Zurich, led to lively discussions and a programmatic statement on the reappraisal of colonial museum collections in Switzerland with regard to the international debate on restitution.
