Ngavirue, Zedekia

The Namibian historian and politician Zedekia Ngavirue is a BAB author. He and Dag Henrichsen re-issued the first African and ‘only non-racial’ newspaper published in Namibia in 1960 (‘A Glance at Our Africa. Facsimile Reprint of South West News 1960’, 1997) whilst his 1972 PhD thesis ‘Political Parties and Interest Groups in Southwest Africa’ became the first volume in the newly launched Basel Namibia Studies Series (P. Schlettwein Publishing) in 1997. In 2010, he launched the BAB publication ‘Israel Goldblatt. Building Bridges. Namibian Nationalists’ at the National Archives of Namibia.
