Once upon a time through Namibia. 16 detachable postcards

On the way, using various traditional and modern forms of transportation: 16 historic photographs convey an impression of the pleasures and challenges of travel in the South African colony during the 1950s and 1960s.

The photographs come from three collections of historic photographs, part of the extensive holdings of the Photo Archives of the Basler Afrika Bibliographien.
