Pfister, Roger

Roger Pfister who worked in the library of the BAB in the mid-1990s is a scholar of Southern African Studies and currently Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences. His timely monograph ‘Internet for Africanists’ (1996) was one of the very first introductions to the internet for African Studies and an instant bestseller of the BAB Publishing House.
