71The ‘Informationszentrum Dritte Welt’ (Third World Information Centre) is one of the oldest West-German alternative information centres. Its very wide-ranging and heterogenous collection of press clippings, brochures and all sorts of ephemera from and on every African country and islands, systematically collected between ca. 1968 and 2000, comprises some 600 files and is housed at the BAB.
