Iwalewahaus

The Iwalewahaus, founded in 1981, is a exhibition, documentation and research centre on contemporary African culture. The BAB’s acoustic exhibition on journalist Ruth Weiss was shown in Bayreuth (‘Die Macht der Worte’) and the Iwalewa’s multimedia exhibition ‘Stolen Moments’ on Namibian pop music was shown at the BAB.
