Sutter, Erika
The Basel ophthalmologist and medical missionary Erika Sutter (1917-2015) worked for decades at the Elim hospital in northern South Africa where she founded, together with Selina Maphorogo, the community-based Care Groups. In 2013, she published her autobiography ‘Seen with Other Eyes’ as told to Gertrud Stiehle with the BAB Publishing House.
