in motion Film series

In 2014, the BAB launched its ‘in motion’ film series with regular screenings of films from its collections and since then has organised film series, film talks and also a film festival on contemporary Namibian, Mozambican and Zambian films with participating African film makers. Short films and feature films as well as documentaries on social, political and historical themes are screened, often for the first time in Switzerland. ‘in motion’ thus contributes to critical discourses on decolonisation and seeks to give space to the cultural diversity of African voices.
