Marc Epprecht is professor in the Department of Global Developmnet Studies at Queens University. Amongst his numerous publications on the histories of masculinities, gender studies, homosexualities and homophobias in Africa ist the acclaimed “Hungonchani: The History of a Dissident Sexuality in Southern Africa”. During the Luncht Talk he introduces his latest book with reflections on his personal experiences and research challenges. The book “Accidental Queer and other essays around critical masculinity studies in Southern Africa and Canada” will be available.
