Fields of Play

The exhibition ‘Fields of Play – Football in Cape Town’, jointly set up with the Distric Six Museum and shown simultaneously in Basel and Cape Town in 2010 on the occassion of the Football World Cup tournament, focused on the history of football and forced removals in Cape Town during the apartheid era. A publication, seminars and a conference accompanied the event.
