Eriksen, Tore Linné

The Norwegian historian and bibliographer Tore Linné Eriksen visited the BAB in 1983 in order to conduct an extensive survey of its Namibia holdings. Publishing his important ‘The Political Economy of Namibia. An annotated critical bibliography’ (Uppsala 1985/1989) he pointed out that the BAB’s ‘collection of material published in Namibia since the early 1950s is probably more extensive than in any other libraries outside Southern Africa’.
