AA.2: Press archive and grey literature on the events between 1960 and 1991 leading to Namibia's independence, with a focus on the years 1988–1990 and on the role of the UN. (with inventory)
AA.3: "SWAPO of Namibia". This extensive archive on the liberation organisation and ruling party contains predominantly printed material (newspapers, bulletins, brochures, articles etc.) produced both by and about SWAPO for the period 1966–1990. The holdings of the SWAPO magazines such as Namibia Today, SWAPO Information Bulletin and The Combatant are to a large extent complete. Post-1990 material has not yet been catalogued.

AA.4: Epupa debate. The collection contains press articles from Namibian newspapers on such themes as Epupa, energy production, cocoa, ethnicity and traditional leaders for the period 1990–1996. (with inventory)
AA.5. "Kämpfendes Afrika". The archive of the Swiss solidarity group "Medic' Angola/Kämpfendes Afrika" (Zürich 1971–1988) comprises the organisation's archive including correspondence and other documents relating to its contacts with African liberation movements, especially ZANU, ZAPU, SWAPO, SWANU, ANC, PAC, UNITA, MPLA and ELF.

Other press and documentation archivesCountries: For all countries in Africa there are – sometimes quite large – collections of press articles and grey literature. For some countries, these are subdivided thematically. The collections for South Africa (before and after 1994), Mozambique and Zimbabwe are particularly extensive.
